Review: L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation

I’ve seen many reviews on the L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation, so I finally gave in and picked one up for myself. After using this for a few weeks, I wanted to put in my own two cents about it.

One of the things I love about this product is its packaging. Not only do I love the sleek design, but I also love how it lays it all down on the back of what the product claims it does. Plus, it’s in a tube so it’s easier to control how much product I like to squeeze out vs some of the glass bottled foundations where I have to pour out the product.

Foundation Claims:
• Demi-matte finish
• 24-hr wear
• Medium coverage
• Air-light texture
• Oil-free and oil-controlling
What I love:
• Matte finish
• Long-wearing, and I don’t get oily like my Fit Me foundation
• Medium to full coverage depending on how much you use
• Light, weightless feel
• Yellow undertone
Not So Much:
• Quick-drying and hard to blend
• Too dark for my skin
• More on the pricey end of drugstore foundations ($12-15)
Overall, I am very pleased with this foundation. I have oily skin, and this completely mattifies my face, and my foundation does not budge throughout the day. I highly recommend this product to anyone with oily skin.
Couple other tips, because this is a matte finish foundation, make sure to moisturize and prime you skin. I’ve really enojoyed pairing Maybelline’s Master Prime face primer with this foundation.
Have you used this product yet? If so, how do you feel about it?

XoXo, KayMo
