Rare Beauty Liquid Foundation Review

When Selena Gomez announced the launch of her brand, Rare Beauty, I was immediately excited to hear more about it. I was even more excited to try the liquid touch weightless foundation. After finally getting my hands on it and trying it out for a few weeks, here’s my honest review on the Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation.

Quick facts about the Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation:

How many shades does it come in?

48 foundation shades, 48 concealer shades

What shade am I wearing?

380 W

What is the coverage and finish?

Light to medium coverage with a natural finish

Formulation of this foundation?

Liquid; note that it’s very very liquidy.

What’s the price on this?

$29.00

First impressions:

Initially, when I took the product out of the box, there seemed to be some sort of a leak. The bottle was covered in an oil-like liquid that I needed to clean up (I even went to exchange it with another product from Sephora and the same thing happened).

Tip number one: be sure to have the bottle standing up rather than lying on its side to prevent any more leaking. With that being said, tip number two: shake the product to make sure it’s well mixed before using.

I’m very, very picky when it comes to foundations. If it feels thick and tacky, it’s a no for me. Surprisingly this lightweight foundation truly feels lightweight that packs a quite a bit of coverage without the cakey look and feel. My favorite thing about this foundation is that it feels as if you have nothing on your skin. If you’re all about that natural makeup look, you’ll be into this foundation.

Bottom line:

For $29, it’s a pretty good deal considering the price tags on other high-end foundations. Another bonus is that you need very little to cover your entire face, meaning this will last you for a while. I really enjoy using this foundation and plan on grabbing another once I use this one up! Have you tried this foundation? What are your thoughts?
