Being a girl with curves makes it difficult to find the right clothes. I can’t just throw on anything and assume it’ll look fine. With an apple shaped body like mine, there are specific things I look for before it makes its way into my closet.

This dress is by the brand “Say What?” and there are three reasons why I’m obsessing over it:

1. Hour glass shape: Because of the way this dress is cut and stitched, it gives my round body a little more shape with an illusion of hips and a smaller waist.  Most importantly, it draws the eyes away from my stomach area.

2. Long sleeves: My arms are one of my biggest insecurities. The long sleeves covers them up, and the gold details keeps your eyes focused on the shoulders.

3. The right fabric: This is huge! There’s nothing worse than wearing something and feeling absolutely miserable in it. This dress is made up of a soft, thick, woven material that does not cling onto my skin. It’s comfortable to move in and does not accentuate the middle area.

The most important thing is to find something YOU feel comfortable and good in. When I wear something I know I look good in, I’m a totally different person. I am more confident and I can feel my personality radiate where ever I go.
